GEOCACHING AS FAMILY ADVENTURE
The treasure hunt of the new millennium

Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunting game where players try to find hidden containers, called geocaches, with the using of GPS devices.
Geocaching combines technology with outdoor fun. It provides a good opportunity to explore the local and wider environment. Caches are usually so hidden and disguised that they will not be found or recognized by outsiders. Furthermore, the principle is to maintain the caches hided and unobserved as possible. Otherwise there is a risk that the caches will be found or lost by outsiders.
